Project Description:
Delta Air Lines and JFK International Air Terminal, LLC (JFKIAT), the developer and operator of Terminal 4, are developing a larger, state-of-the-art terminal to enhance the airport experience for travelers flying into and out of New York. This includes modernizing arrivals and departure halls, introducing 10 new gates through a substantial concourse expansion, revitalizing existing concourses, and adding another domestic baggage claim carousel. Roadway upgrades will also be implemented to improve vehicle access.
Roles and responsibilities:
As Technical Architectural Designer, part of the design and construction team that worked on designing Exterior Facade, coordinated door hardware and security hardware for interior and exterior doors, developed ceiling design layouts and coordinated with consultants for both airside and landside components of the project
Technical Coordinator with consultants - Electrical, Fire Alarm, Fire Protection, Telecommunication, Mechanical and Structural systems
Documented and presented to various stakeholders - Arup, Delta Airlines
